This is so cute. Edward would probably do this. But...something ive learned: you can't keep your partner happy 24/7. Our happiness is our own responsibility -- and marriage should add to happiness, not be the only reason for it. In sickness and in health. So he shouldn't promise to keep her happy-- but to continue to love her in the darkest, most unhappy hours. They already loved each other so selflessly for so long, and they've been through so much together. I'm so happy they're canonically married :')
